For the fifth year in a row we have hosted the library’s annual Summer Reading Club Bookmark Contest. These winning designs have been printed and are available to patrons in the Library. In addition, the contributions include three capital projects:a scanner, Sampson, and ipads
Back row: Mayor Tom Adams, FOMPL Board president Karen Hollinhurst, Council members Larry Spicer, Gloria Crudgington, Becky Shevlin, and Alex Blackburn. A big night for the Friends! “I come at perfume from a different point of view,” says Christopher Brosius (perfumer for CB Beast by CB I Hate Perfume, a Brooklyn-based line of “anti-perfumes). of the classical notion of perfume as a fashion accessory. “I’m looking to create very different experiences.” And different they are. Take In the Library, for instance: an unusual perfume that captures the smell of books in a way that will immediately connect with readers. (The secret: An “English Novel” note that Brosius had derived from a real book.) From Yahoo Beauty April 24, 2015
